If you like sun, blue skies and overall mild conditions, this weekend has been near perfect. But if you want to show you skills in windy conditions with decent size waves…well then you hopefully found a better spot than Klitmøller // Coldhawaii – because the conditions were difficult for the riders attending this years Open Wave Competition.

I saw a lot of full hearted attempts to score points in the waves but due to the conditions it didn’t look as cool on the pictures as it actually did live.
Nevertheless here are some impressions from a great few days at the beach together with some great riders, that just didn’t get a real chance to perform to the best of their ability.
Thursday was showing that Coldhawaii have the potential, and some riders stayed on to train – I was there to capture what seamed to be the perfect start to the weekend.
