I’m here to cover the European Championships in wave performance – and the conditions delivered from day one! Actually some would have loved to start earlier on the day, but these had to wait – all in good time! The loca Mayer kicked of the week long event and declared the event for open with a hang loose gesture to the thrill of the crowd.
Not a hole lot of spectators – a petty because the competition was spectacular and to the surprise for most Philip Koster lost in the Semifinals.
Since the event is new the organisation team leading the competition is the core team behind Waterz in Hvide Sande – hence I’m here as official wave performance photographer. And what an easy job when the competitors deliver the goods!
